Lishen 24v 8s 25.6v 20ah 512wh Lifepo4 Battery

These batteries were recovered from a large backup battery module.

They are not capacity tested but they are perfectly balanced and the large battery cabinet they came from just had a bad BMS. It is likely that these cells will test near full capacity.

These are easy to configure into 4s (12v), 8s (24v), and 16s (48v). As you can see there are 8x 3.2v 20ah Lishen prismatic cells in series in each module. They are in 4s groups. If you want to make a 4s 12v battery you can simply remove the series copper busbar. Or you can take 2 of these and put them in series to make a 48v (51.2v) 20ah lifepo4 battery.

Easily add your own BMS. There are threaded posts for your balance leads and also threaded posts for your main +/- connections. You will need the nuts but they are readily available anywhere. The balance lead posts are M4x0.7 thread and the main +/- posts are M6x1.0.

The cells already come with cell holders and are laser welded for superior connections.

The cell data is in the photos. You can charge this battery up to 20a continuous and discharge up to 40a continuous. It would be ideal to pair these up with a 30a BMS. The 30a BMS units are very inexpensive too. You can make multiple packs, each with their own BMS then parallel them.

We recommend keeping them the way they are. If you want to remove the cells and cut the busbars keep in mind the cells are naked so you will need to add shrink wrap to them if you take them out of the holders. Also keep metal away from the sides of the packs. The cells are all metal and they are in series so you want to avoid shorting them on the outer casing of the cells.
