6000w 24 Headway cell 12v KIT ONLY BUSBAR + HOLDERS

This is a complete copper busbar and cell holder kit with handles, custom made just for the red 38120 Headway cells. Cells are not included. We sell the used cells at a great price so you can build your own 12v module at a crazy low price. With this kit you can build a 4s6p (12.8v 48ah) module that can handle up to 6000w discharge continuous.

The kit including the handles is 14" tall, 7.5" wide, and 6" deep.

The busbars are copper and can handle 500a continuous if you make your wire lug connections directly to the wider cell section. If you use the part of the copper main positive and negative as your main connection, since those are thinner, you can run 300a through them.

We always recommend using a BMS and also make sure if you parallel 2 of these batteries together they are the same voltage. These batteries can output an insane amount of power on a short, over 400a per cell. So please be careful and use a BMS.

Again the cells are not included but when you add the cells the recommended maximum parameters are below.

Fully charged module is 14.6v (3.65v per cell)
Fully discharged modules is 10v (2.5v per cell)
Nominal Voltage is 12.8v (3.2v per cell)
Recommended max continuous charge 300a when charging using the main connectors
Recommended max continuous discharge 300a when using the main connectors
500a discharge when connecting right to the busbar on top of the cells. Busbars are a little over 1/16" x 2" until it goes into the bend for the main connection which is roughly 1/16" x 3/4".

You can always make thicker busbars to carry more amps but the busbars included are custom made and are meant for these cells. 300-500a discharge for 6 cells in parallel is a reasonable amount of power which will not cause the cells to get hot and it'll make them last longer.

You can also cut off the handle part and trim the busbar on the one side if you want to save space but the handles make these very convenient to carry around.
